How Long Does the Process Actually Take?

Generally, the entire process takes about 1 week, though, like anything, there are some exceptions. The first day or two is dedicated to preparation and removing the doors and drawer fronts. The all thats left is to spray finish and clean up.

Can Modern Cabinet Finishes Help With New or Replacement Cabinets or Other Carpentry As Well?

Yes, we have recommended contractors that we work with or can source for new cabinet boxes, doors, molding, or accents. We have recommended countertop suppliers and installers, as well as lighting or other designers. We also work closely with designers and cabinet shops.

What Areas of The Country Does Modern Cabinet Finishes Cover?

We are based out of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, but we serve all of New Jersey.

What Materials Does Modern Cabinet Finishes Use?

We use a low odor, quick dry, environmentally friendly, water borne professional finishes from an array of high end manufacturers. All of our finishes meet or exceed KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufactures Association) standards.

Do I Have to Remove All The Items From My Cabinets And Drawers Before My Kitchen is Refinished?

No, You don't have to remove anything from your cabinets. We tape off, and "trampoline" each cabinet during the prep phase to keep your items protected from any cleaners, dust, or refinishing products. We do ensure accessibility of your items and appliances throughout the entire process.

Obtaining a "to the penny" quotation from Modern Cabinet Finishes is quick and easy.

Take photos of the kitchen cabinets, please try to make it easy for us to see all the areas that need to be refinished so we can count up all the doors and drawers and get a good visual of the kitchen layout
